A leadership development event – made up of two-days of inspiring, world-class content – will be held in Aberdeen this November.
The Global Leadership Summit (GLS) will be hosted by King’s Community Church on Friday, November 9, and Saturday, November 10.
The video-cast will provide attendees with insight, wisdom and practical guidance on themes such as Leading with Relational Intelligence, Maximising Your Time and Potential, Building Enduring Organisations and Understanding Your Life Purpose.
The sessions will be delivered by high calibre speakers, including Simon Sinek, whose 2017 talk on ‘Millennials in the Workplace’ was considered to have ‘broken the internet’ with more than 250 million views.
Other experts, including leadership guru, John Maxwell, church leader, author and film maker, TD Jakes, and Morgan Stanley’s vice chairman, managing director and senior client advisor, Carla Harris, will deliver talks on specific topics such as Becoming a Leader People Love to Follow, The Difficult Work of Pushing a Vision Forward, Characteristics of a L.E.A.D.E.R and Navigating Difficult Conversations.
The GLS maximises the opportunity for attendees to action the inspiration in their respective spheres, with break-out sessions scheduled throughout the two days to help guests consider, digest and discuss the content.
Building on the success of two previous GLS events in Aberdeen, the King’s Community Church – which is the only Scottish site holding the Summit this year – joins organisations across the globe in hosting the 2018 gathering.
The main Summit was held in Chicago in August, before being brought to 135 countries, translated into 60 languages, meaning around 445,000 people will glean from the event.
