Women in Tech Aberdeen is thrilled to announce its next event, A Tribute to Ada Lovelace Through Art and AI, taking place on Thursday, February 27 2025, from 6pm to 8pm at ONE Tech Hub.
This unique event will explore the intersection of technology and the creative arts, highlighting how diversity and inclusion can drive innovation. Attendees will experience PAInting Music, an innovative live performance by contemporary fine artist Kate Steenhauer. The presentation celebrates Ada Lovelace, a pioneer often regarded as the world’s first computer programmer, through a multifaceted audio-visual journey.
Using cutting-edge AI techniques, PAInting Music demonstrates the interplay between music and visual art while sparking discussions about pressing topics such as bias in AI and the role of women in tech. This thought-provoking evening is designed to inspire, educate and celebrate the achievements of women in technology, both past and present.
“We’re excited to bring together art and technology in a way that not only celebrates Ada Lovelace’s legacy but also encourages critical conversations about the future of AI and diversity in tech,” said Women in Tech committee member Jennifer Hall from Integrity HSE, a proud supporter of Women in Tech Aberdeen.
Women in Tech Aberdeen continues to champion diversity and inclusion in the North-east of Scotland, creating a vibrant community for women in tech to network, share knowledge and grow their skills.
