Following a contract win for a prominent local construction business, Willbox has delivered out one of it’s new ECO Fusion static welfare units in Aberdeen.
Willbox, a leading UK supplier of containerised solutions with a base here in Aberdeen, recently invested in a fleet of new eco-friendly static welfare units. These units offer efficient running costs through clever use of solar, internal battery storage and a back up generator. Users can expect up to 80% reduction in both fuel costs and CO2 emissions. An added benefit of the fusion solar and generator set up is significantly less noise pollution compared to a traditional welfare unit. With LED lighting, internal heating and a modern canteen area these units are a comfortable and pleasant space to work.
Matthew Pirie, regional manager, Scotland, commented: “Our investment in these highly efficient, eco-friendly welfare units demonstrates commitment to our ever growing and developing Scottish business. We are winning more and more contracts with construction and utilities businesses as we go through unprecedented growth from our Aberdeen base. Seeing these out on construction sites in our iconic blue and orange branding is fantastic.”
As well as its environmental credentials, the welfare units feature both lifting rings and forklift pockets making them super easy to pick up, transport and reuse at different projects and sites. They come in two different sizes, allowing for comfortable accommodation for up to 10 staff at once and can even incorporate a site office. They are all high strength steel, anti-vandal and high security as standard.
As Willbox become more prominent in the Scottish market and particularly Aberdeen, its diverse fleet of shipping containers, construction site offices, canteens and staff welfare facilities will be more visible than ever.
