As part of the continuing efforts to establish Aberdeen & Aberdeenshire as a region, which values & invests in providing excellent customer service, VisitAberdeenshire are offering free access to the Discover Aberdeen & Aberdeenshire online training modules, as an extra incentive to businesses who have gained WorldHost Business Recognition.
The online destination awareness training modules will provide your team with the latest information on Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire as a tourism destination, including what to see and do.
Free access to the module is only available for Tourism Businesses once they have achieved full WorldHost Business Recognition (when at least 50% of their staff have gone through the WorldHost training).
There is funding available to help subsidise the cost WorldHost training through Skills Development Scotland for tourism businesses that meet a certain criteria.
There are the following WorldHost Principles of Customer Service courses planned for November 2016:

- Wednesday November 30 & Thursday December 1 at the Potarch Cafe & Restaurant, near Banchory – split across two evenings 6.00 – 9.00pm – to book or for further details, contact Donna Maver at DM Training on (01224) 784461 or info@dmtraining.org
Through these courses, participants will gain invaluable skills and techniques, which represent the fundamentals of customer service and they will be encouraged to take pride in what they do and where they live.
