The co-owner of Aberdeen International Airport (AIA) has denied speculation that it could be put for sale next year.
Unnamed sources quoted by Reuters claimed the owners of AGS Airports, who also operates Glasgow and Southampton airports, could sell up in the new year.
Madrid-based Ferrovial owns 50% of AIA through its AGS Airports partnership with Australia's Macquarie Infrastructure,
A Ferrovial spokeswoman said: I can say that there are no AGS-related sales processes launched at this stage. We have no plans of selling our stake in Aberdeen either."
A spokesman for AIA said the reports are "simply speculation".
FTSE
The UK's flagship share index, the FTSE 100, was up three-points at 7,617 shortly after opening this morning.
Brent crude oil futures were down by 0.01% today, trading at $77.94 per barrel.
