Tourism in the north east of Scotland is changing. The Aberdeen City and Shire Tourism Conference returns in 2016 with an eye firmly on the future, to reveal how the region’s new destination organisation will serve all areas of Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.

Contributing to Scottish Tourism Week, the conference will also address the future of digital technology and innovative practices that can help improve the effectiveness of your tourism organisation.

Speakers at the Aberdeen City and Shire Tourism Conference 2016 include:

  • Steve Harris, CEO, VisitAberdeen
  • Moira Forsyth, Innovation Specialist
  • Vicki Miller, Head of Customer Experience, VisitScotland

Registration for the conference includes access to exhibition stands featuring some of the north east’s premier tourism services and providers, networking with like-minded industry professionals, lunch and refreshments, and free parking. Delegates will also gain free access to Discover Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, an online training module that details the latest information on the region as a tourism destination and gives users the opportunity to update their customer service skills.
