Two Tidy Green Clean regional directors have launched a new Tidy Green Clean franchise in Edinburgh in a joint venture that brings the two TGC franchisees formally together in business for the first time.

Tidy Green Clean is the leading environmentally friendly commercial cleaning business that operates on a franchise model and the new Tidy Green Clean Edinburgh is poised to revolutionise commercial cleaning across the city.

‍Callum Cruickshank and Grant Peterkin, the co-regional directors for TGC Edinburgh both already have a TGC franchise each and the Edinburgh team will be managed day-to-day by regional manager, Keith Armstrong. Tidy Green Clean (TGC) has now grown to seven different franchises led by regional directors across Scotland.

Callum said: “Edinburgh is a fantastic city with numerous opportunities for our business. Our success to-date with Tidy Green Clean franchises has given us the confidence and vision to start a new business here in Scotland’s capital. We will bring the ISO accreditations, high tech approach, Living Wage standards, and exceptional customer service to businesses in Edinburgh who want to work in healthy, hygienic workplaces, and are looking for proactive partners.”

Grant added: “The environmental standards that Tidy Green Clean works to and its reputation for high quality, reliability and loyalty to our customers, together with our commitment to deliver 30 hours of work a week to our staff, generally paid at the Living Wage, means customers recognise that we provide a commercial cleaning service that has a completely different mindset and approach. Keith Armstrong, as Regional Manager, shares our values and as a team we are committed to revolutionise commercial cleaning in this great city of Edinburgh.”

Andrew Alleway, TGC’s co-founder and managing director, said: “Edinburgh has been in our sights for a number of years. We were thrilled when Callum and Grant approached us about taking on the Edinburgh business. It’s testament to the success each is having with their Aberdeen franchises and their commitment to take their business forward that they are now driving the name of Tidy Green Clean forward in the capital. There’s no doubt that what Tidy Green Clean offers, to both potential franchisees, employees and customers, is highly attractive and very successful and even with the challenges of the pandemic, this is why we’re able to open TGC Edinburgh at this time.”

David Moncur, TGC’s co-founder and operations director, added: “Our approach to business has a highly successful track record. Tidy Green Clean continues to shake up the commercial cleaning industry because we put people at its heart and the environment as its focus. This means our customers benefit from high quality service, the latest tech used for cleaning and monitoring our progress, and hygienically clean working environments. We wish Tidy Green Clean Edinburgh every success for its future.”

Tidy Green Clean is the leading environmentally focused national franchise cleaning operation for blue chip organisations and provide local franchisees and Regional Directors with the knowledge, training and support to be successful business owners, making the business model unique within the facilities management industry. It achieved IS0 9001; 14001; and 45001 in under three years and a place in the top UK franchises, the EF100 for 2020 and 2021. Rooted in green practices and technologies, the business is focused on understanding its customers and employees, and how to be successful without that being at the expense of other people or the planet; they have achieved the Achilles UVDB Silver accreditation and are also members of the Living Wage Foundation and the Approved Franchise Association, recently acquired by The bfa.
