Apprentice star Lord Alan Sugar has called for employees to return to the workplace and leave working from home behind.
Speaking to the BBC, he said: "They've got to get their bums back into the office."
His comments come as the debate rages on on remote working which initially became popular by necessity during the Covid-19 pandemic but has remained in place for many.
While the businessman made exceptions, including for those with disabilities, he argued working from home was being abused by some people who "just want to sit at home".
He said: "I'm a great advocate of getting them back to work, because the only way an apprentice is going to learn, is from his colleagues.
"It's small things, like interaction with your more mature colleagues, that will tell you how to do this, how to do that.
"That is lacking in this work-from-home, zoom culture."
