The Scotsman's annual Green Skills conference is back with a twist and marks the launch of a Green Series starting in the North-east on November 13. SSEN Transmission are on board as headline sponsor for the 2024 event, with multinational power firm Vattenfall also involved.
This year’s November conference will focus on topics including supply and demand, the next generation of green skills, links between education and industry, reskilling and upskilling and retaining a workforce.
Speakers for the event include Dr Su Bryan from University of the Highlands and Islands, Susan Grant from North East College Scotland, Jennifer MacDonald from Shell UK, and Ricky Saez and Steph O’Donnell from SSEN Transmission.
Amy Wiggins from Skills Development Scotland, Stuart Gardiner from Hydrasun, Lisa Williamson from OEUK, Alex Spencer from Opito and Sarah Hillyear from Nesa will also appear.
