As of today, you can vote from a superb shortlist of deserving local charities, all hoping to become beneficiaries of The P&J Community Fund.
Last month, The Press & Journal re-launched their P&J Community Fund, continuing the special initiative that marked their 275th anniversary celebrations.
The P&J Community Fund supports local charities transforming the north and north-east through fundraising initiatives and promotion, recently announcing that over £126,000 was raised for their previous charity partners.
Last month, over one hundred charities nominated themselves to be in with a chance of becoming the P&J’s newest charity partners. These charities were then shortlisted by the P&J Community Fund panel.
Now, the public has the final say and shall decide on the two winners – voting for a charity representing the Aberdeen/Aberdeenshire region and another from Moray, Highlands and Islands.
The public vote is open for two weeks, with the charities with the highest votes from both regions becoming the P&J Community Fund Charity partners for two years.
The winning charities will be revealed on Friday, February 7 in print and online. The winning charities will be invited to the upcoming P&J Charity Gala, in association with Cala, on February 21 at P&J Live.
