Teaming up to support Run Garioch 2016

Aberdeen and Northern (Estates) Limited and Thainstone Event’s staff have successfully completed Inverurie’s prestigious running event Run Garioch.

Aberdeen and Northern (Estates) Limited and Thainstone Event’s staff have successfully completed Inverurie’s prestigious running event, Run Garioch, and served as joint event programme sponsors in support of local events which benefit the community and individuals.

Elaine Rennie, Accounts Assistant at Thainstone Events, commented: “I am very pleased to have completed my first 10k and grateful for the support of colleagues, friends and family members who have helped me raise more than £400 and counting for Alzheimer’s Scotland. I believe it is important to demonstrate your support for causes close to your heart and am proud to work for an organisation with a similar vision.”

James Murphy, Head of Aberdeen and Northern (Estates) Limited, said: “The turnout and energy was absolutely outstanding throughout the day and I am happy with the team’s efforts today. As a local business, we’re delighted to give back and support community events which bring everyone together to promote healthy living and charitable work.

Graham Fryers, General Manager of Thainstone Events, said: “I am pleased that we have already made a commitment to get involved in next year’s Run Garioch by continuing to be joint event programme sponsors for a second year running with our sister company Aberdeen and Northern (Estates) Limited.”
