Taxi fares in Aberdeen are to increase by 3% to help cover rising costs for drivers.
The moves comes after Aberdeen City Council carried out its latest fare review which is required every 18 months.
A suggested 3% increased was deemed "appropriate" due to rising costs, and a hike in the average wage.
While the fees won’t change, the distance of a journey will be reduced. This will see passengers charged £3 for the first 957 yards and a further 20p for every additional 142 yards.
The new charges will come into force in April 2025.
