TalentSpark is a unique collaborative platform which shares knowledge, jobs and events of Scotland’s rapidly growing startup and innovation communities.
Devised by local recruitment firm Eden Scott, the community driven proposition encourages candidates, clients and investors alike to come together in order to expand Scotland’s evolving entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Scotland’s SME space accounts for almost half (42%) of private sector jobs and employs approximately 1.1million people. However, the intensifying war for talent is making it difficult for entrepreneurs to compete with large employer brands to lure the best people.
That’s why Scottish recruitment firm Eden Scott took the initiative to create TalentSpark, forming a community of startup experts to provide insight, jobs and a networking calendar.
The service is completely free of charge, entrepreneurs can advertise their roles on the platform and candidates can gain access to the best startup jobs in Scotland.
Jane Kennedy, Eden Scott’s evangelist for TalentSpark said: “This isn’t just a job board, TalentSpark is an ecosystem for advice and support. It’s a nascent venture and we’re keen to enlist other likeminded partners to develop the hub in order to give something back to the entrepreneurial community and enable the next generation of Scottish enterprise”.
One such company who has already reaped the rewards of TalentSpark is TVSquared.
Lindsay Terrell, Director of Client Services said: “As a rapidly growing start-up, recruiting the right people that fit with our culture and has the right technical skills sets is hugely important. TalentSpark has aided us in making some excellent recent hires to help drive our business forward”.
