St Margaret's is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs Jane Innes as its new Head of Finance and Operations, succeeding Mrs Mhairi Miller on the commencement of her retirement.

Jane is CIPD qualified in Human Resources and is the immediate past Chair of the CIPD’s North of Scotland and Islands branch. Her professional journey has also taken her overseas where she has successfully managed her own Human Resource Consultancy.
Most recently, Jane has served as Associate Dean in Aberdeen Business School at Robert Gordon University. In this role, she was instrumental in driving economic development and revenue generation, among other key responsibilities. Her extensive multi-sector and cross-disciplinary experience is expected to be a significant asset to the school community.
Head of St Margaret’s, Miss Anna Tomlinson, shared: "We are thrilled to welcome Jane to St Margaret's. Her extensive experience makes her an excellent fit for our school. We are confident that Jane will build on the strong foundation laid by Mhairi Miller and lead us to even greater success."
Jane shared her goals for the future: "I am excited to join the St Margaret's community and look forward to working with such a talented team. My goal is to ensure the continued financial health of the school while exploring new opportunities for growth and development. I am eager to contribute to an environment where every student and staff member can thrive."
New and existing families will have the opportunity to meet Jane at St Margaret’s upcoming Open Morning on Saturday, October 5. This will be a great opportunity for parents, students, and staff to meet Jane in person, hear more about her vision for the school, and ask any questions they have.
