Johnston Carmichael, Scotland’s largest independent accountancy and business advisory firm, has recruited Gemma Spiers as its new marketing director.
Taking on a firm wide remit, she is responsible for shaping and delivering Johnston Carmichael’s strategic marketing operations across its 11 Scottish locations, reporting directly to CEO Sandy Manson.
Spiers has a decade long track record in corporate marketing, initially working in the financial services industry before joining Deloitte where she spent more than six years. In that time she rose the ranks to become the marketing strategy lead for Scotland and Northern Ireland, managing a team across three locations.
