Local learning disability charity, Inspire, is to benefit from the ‘pedal-power’ of two renowned business speakers and coaches later this month, whilst also offering local organisations the opportunity to become more successful in these challenging times.
‘Speakers On Spokes’ will see Iain Whyte and Julian Lewis undertake a sponsored cycle from Inverness to Edinburgh from September 06th-10th to raise funds for Inspire – which provides a range of services to more than 400 people with additional support needs throughout the North-east of Scotland.
The duo – both of whom have delivered business growth seminars to clients across the globe – will also make a stop in Aberdeen to deliver a Business Growth workshop which will, among other things, help attendees get the most out of their employees and improve their business relationships.
Andrew Reid, Trust and Community Fundraiser at Inspire, said: “We are extremely grateful to both Iain and Julian for undertaking this challenge in aid of Inspire. Not content with the physical exertion of cycling from Inverness to Edinburgh they also want to share their knowledge and experience with local businesses and I am sure their inspirational and engaging presentations will be of interest to many people.
“With the Offshore Europe exhibition starting on the day of the seminar it could be the perfect way to kick-start your week in business whilst providing support to a charity that does so much vital work in the local area.”
The seminar will take place at Inspire’s Café Coast & Meeting Rooms, on the Beach Boulevard, from 7am-9.30am on Tuesday, September 08th and is priced at £15 per delegate – including refreshments - with all funds going to the charity.
