Somebody Cares was established in 2002 by Jennifer Taylor (Founder) and Brian Taylor (CEO) and has since become a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) committed to improving the welfare of those facing challenging times within Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.

Somebody Cares strive to combat poverty and provide second chances to those trapped in addiction, victims of cuckooing, domestic violence or mounting debt, those with mental illness, physical and life limiting illnesses, asylum seekers, ex-offenders, young parents and teenagers who have become homeless.

The charity accepts donations of furnishings, household items, clothes and food in great quantities and either donates them free of charge to the charity clients or sells them to customers of the retail outlets to generate income.
