Sirius Security (UK) Ltd's company director, Brian Welch, was honoured to be invited
along to the Nelson Street police station earlier this week to meet with PC
Steve Warden and some of his fellow dog section colleagues and to see the newly
named, Brian Welch suite.
Brian served in Grampian Police from 1969-1993 and
was promoted during this time (1986) to sergeant of the dog section.
Over coffee and biscuits, they enjoyed discussing the difference in duties of an operational dog handler back then compared to today and shared many stories and laughs.
Brian was then asked to remove the cover on the door plaque and get his photo taken beside it - this was a moment of immense pride!
