TWMA, a global leader in the provision of integrated drilling waste management and environmental services, is sponsoring Scottish motocross rider, Shaun Simpson, for a second year.
Shaun undertook his first American Motorcycle Association (AMA) professional race in the USA last year, thanks to sponsorship from TWMA which funded travel and participation in the AMA Motocross Championship. Shaun finished an impressive fourth place in the competition.
This year, TWMA is supporting Shaun’s entry and travel to competitions across the world including Germany, Spain, France and the US, allowing him to compete in key races and progress his career as one of the world’s leading motocross riders.
Commenting on TWMA’s continued sponsorship, Douglas Garrick Director at TWMA said: “Shaun has had an extremely exciting and successful career so far and we’re delighted to be supporting him for the second year as he competes in global competitions across this season’s calendar.
“Several of TWMA’s employees are keen motocross enthusiasts so it’s fantastic to be supporting a Scottish rider as successful as Shaun. We’ll be watching his performances closely, and wish him the best of luck for the remainder of the 2016 season.”
Shaun has been the British Motocross Champion three times since 2008, and represented Team Great Britain four times at the prestigious Motocross of Nations. He currently has 10 races lined up for the rest of the season, including three British Championships and six Motocross Grand Prix World Championships. Shaun’s next race will be round 6 of the Maxxis British Motocross Championship in Suffolk.
