Scottish Enterprise makes Sunday Times Best Companies list

Economic development agency, Scottish Enterprise, has made it into the top 100 Not-For-Profit companies to work for in the UK in this year’s Sunday Times Best Companies to work for list.

As one of only three Scottish organisations on the Not-For-Profit list, the accolade comes after Scottish Enterprise’s fourth biennial staff survey which revealed high employee satisfaction and motivation scores.

Carolyn Stewart, managing director of people at Scottish Enterprise said: “We are delighted to have made it into this year’s Best Companies top 100 in the Not-For-Profit category. We work really hard to create a productive environment and strong staff engagement to ensure our people feel motivated, so to be one of the leading companies in Scotland is a real achievement and one we want to build on.”

The prestigious list is the Sunday Times’ 16th annual survey which ranks Britain’s employers in response to feedback from staff. Scottish Enterprise has ranked 99th out of the top 100 in the Not-For-Profit category and features as one of only seven Scottish organisations in the 325 employers listed across all categories.

Over 408,000 employees working in 1,336 companies across the UK were surveyed as part of this year’s Best Companies study.
