Savills spends a decade at the top as it remains Times Graduate Employer of Choice

International real estate advisor Savills has retained its title as The Times Graduate Employer of Choice for Property for the tenth consecutive year.

The firm has held this position since the category’s inception in 2007.

The awards, which reflect the feedback from interviews of more than 18,000 final year students was held on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Kings Place in London. Savills beat rivals JLL and Knight Frank, who were placed second and third respectively.

Savills was also named 94th in the Times Top 100 employers this year, the only property company to make the list, which features Britain’s best known and most successful graduate employers.

Nick Penny, head of Savills Scotland, comments:

“We are very pleased to have been recognised as the Property Employer of Choice for ten consecutive years. We currently have 14 graduates working across our Scotland offices within a number of different disciplines. We continue to pride ourselves on hiring diverse and ambitious individuals of the highest calibre and are committed to providing the opportunity, support and skill that will enable them to become the business leaders of tomorrow.”

Jeremy Tolley, graduate surveyor at Savills Edinburgh, comments:

“Since joining the Savills graduate programme last year, I have had widespread exposure to national and international clients, and have worked on a broad range of projects from across the property sector. The global nature of Savills, and the diversity and depth of knowledge on show across the company, has ensured the opportunities I have been given are seemingly endless. It is great to have been given this level of responsibility and support at such a key stage in my career.”
