The leader of the Scottish Labour Party has assured the North-east that it will not be left behind, just days after his party's U-turn on green investment.
In an interview with the Press & Journal, Anas Sarwar said it's "obvious" that Sir Keir Starmer sees the transition to as a "key part of developing a growth plan for the UK".
Last Thursday, Sir Keir announced that his party would introduce a "proper" windfall tax on oil and gas companies at an increased rate of 78%.
But Mr Sarwar says he has "absolute confidence in Scottish workers, Scottish industry and Scottish business".
“We can build the supply chain and make those businesses and jobs a reality."
The policy will put 42,000 jobs in the industry at risk, while wiping out £26b of economic value.
