Ryden recognised with prestigious awards

Ryden took home the title of Investment Agency Team of the Year at the 3rd annual Scottish Property Awards ceremony in Glasgow last week.

The prestigious event, which recognises the best buildings, businesses and teams in Scotland’s commercial property sector, was attended by over 650 people.

Ryden, which was also nominated in the Office and Industrial Agency categories, beat rivals JLL and Dougray Smith to take home the Investment award, with the independent judging panel commending the firm for “its strength in delivering specialist investment advice across the whole of Scotland”.

Accepting the award, partner and head of investment Ken Shaw said: “It is nice to receive the recognition of your industry peers. The award is the culmination of the hard work and commitment of our team and an acknowledgement of our strength in this sector of the market. We look forward to continuing to achieve results for our clients and defending our title next year!”

Managing partner Bill Duguid added: “It was great to see such a large turnout of Scotland's property elite at the event. My highlights from the evening – other than our own award win of course - included seeing client Knight Property Group win the City Regeneration Project of the Year award for their Capitol office development and Drum Property Group win the prestigious and very well deserved award of Property Company of the Year.”

Ryden’s investment agency accolade was quickly followed by the firm being named Overall Most Active Agent in Scotland for the 14th time by Estates Gazette interactive (EGi). The firm also topped the Scottish Office and Industrial Agency categories, with EGi saying that “Ryden has an unshakable grasp on the Scottish market”.
