Royal Peterson Control Union Group B.V. (RPCU) has appointed Iain Corbett as its senior legal counsel in the UK to lead upon the business’s legal structures and foundations as it embraces the opportunities presented by the energy transition.
Iain joins the company from Aker Solutions where he was focussed on its renewable offering. He previously held legal roles at global technology company FNZ, as well as law firms including Addleshaw Goddard during his decade-long career.
Iain, who is based in Aberdeen, will provide strategic legal counsel to the Peterson Energy Logistics global operations, as well as the UK entities of its parent company RPCU.

Iain’s role will see him work alongside the RPCU General Counsel to develop long-term strategies. He will manage complex legal transactions, as well as supporting the work of the commercial and contracts teams.
