Robert Gordon’s College has appointed Anna Cairns as Director of People, bringing international strategic experience to the independent school.
As part of the Senior Leadership Team, the new role expands HR responsibilities within the College, driving initiatives to attract and retain talented staff, promote staff wellbeing, and support their professional development.
Anna joins Robert Gordon’s College with over 20 years of international HR leadership experience, complemented by an MSc in Occupational Psychology from the University of Amsterdam and an Executive MBA equivalent from Harvard Business School.
In addition to her extensive HR leadership experience, she brings a solid understanding of business operations, financial oversight, and risk management. Anna is committed to promoting diversity, inclusion, and sustainability, aligning her values with the College's goals.
With her strategic insight and deep understanding of the College’s history, ethos, and values, she is well-positioned to build impactful teams and cultivate a culture of excellence. Additionally, she serves as a non-executive director of Greyhope Bay, a charity in Aberdeen, showcasing her leadership and expertise in both business and community engagement.
