Two roads in the Bucksburn area of Aberdeen are to be closed for longer after the fire to the Britannia Hotel.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service is investigating the blaze, which happened on 9 June, and the building is still unstable.
An Aberdeen City Council spokeswoman said: “Oldmeldrum Road and Malcolm Road are both to be closed for a further week for further investigations, and a decision will be made after then. The priority is ensuring the building is made stable.”
Notices for the emergency closure of the roads until this Friday have been issued, and further notices will be forthcoming.
About 70 firefighters tackled the blaze at the hotel, which was left partially destroyed afterwards.
