The free event at the university’s Faculty of Health and Social Care in Garthdee will take place on Thursday, March 31, from 4pm to 7pm.
The evening offers prospective students the opportunity to tour the university’s purpose built facilities and to meet stuff and students in order to learn about the Bachelor degree programmes available:
- Bachelor of Nursing – Adult Nursing
- Bachelor of Nursing (Hons) – Adult Nursing
- Bachelor of Nursing – Mental Health
- BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy
Professor Ian Murray, head of RGU’s School of Nursing and Midwifery said that the open evening is a special opportunity to find out more about the university’s nursing and occupational therapy programmes.
He said: “A career in health care can change lives, and also can change your own. It can be challenging sometimes, but most certainly careers in nursing and occupational therapy can be rewarding and worthwhile.
“Those who attend the open evening will find out more about the wide range of exciting opportunities within each field and whether one of our highly regarded courses is the career choice for you.”
