This December, Revolution Bars Group will open a new site in Glasgow under the Revoluciòn de Cuba brand, increasing the Scottish estate total to five, and the current portfolio to 13 across the UK.
This opening marks the 66th bar opening within Revolution Bars Group, which since the IPO has created 400 new jobs.
Opening on December 16, the bar and restaurant will be located moments from Queen Street station. The listed 4,300 square foot building features 100 covers inside and a further 300 square feet of external seating. Cuban-inspired interiors have been designed to create a vibrant space that reflects the brand’s lively Latin food and drink offering. Weekly live music will also add to the energetic ambience.
Revoluciòn de Cuba brand is driven by premium Cuban rums and creative, handmade cocktails, with food influences from across Latin American.
Mark McQuater, CEO of Revolution Bars Group, comments: “We launched Aberdeen earlier this month and it has been received really well. We are delighted with our Glasgow site; the city centre has a buzzing bar scene and is situated in a high footfall location. We look forward to showcasing our premium Cuban proposition to this new audience.”
Revolution Bars Group will have opened four Revoluciòn de Cuba bars this year.
