NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the Mock Employment Tribunal
Snowdon v Dream Designs Ltd
Case No: 4112888/15
The Claimant is an architect who worked for property design company, Dream Designs Ltd.

Mrs Snowdon was a highly regarded employee of Dream Designs Ltd. She was in a senior position in the company which was reflected in numerous pay rises awarded to her over the years and in her promotion to Studio Director on her return from her first maternity leave. Prior to commencing her second maternity leave Mrs Snowdon alleges she was treated unfavourably and less favourably because of her sex and because she was pregnant and thereafter on maternity leave. The unfavourable or less favourable treatment alleged included Mrs Snowdown’s exclusion from promotional materials and apparent demotion in status from “the face” of Dream Designs, stereotypical comments in relation to pregnancy and maternity, aggressive behaviour and exclusion from restructure plans.

Mrs Snowdon was dissatisfied with the outcome of an investigation into her complaints and resigned claiming a breach of trust and confidence.
The claims by Mrs Snowdon raises issues concerning:

  • Constructive dismissal
  • Sex and pregnancy and maternity discrimination
  • Victimisation
