The Oil & Gas sector in Scotland has undergone significant changes in 2015 due to the fall in oil prices, making operating conditions in the North Sea more difficult. This has happened at a time when the industry was aware of the need to reduce costs and become more efficient.
To combat this, the Energy Jobs Task Force (EJTF) was established in January to help tackle these challenges faced by the industry. To complement the work of the EJTF, Scottish Enterprise and Highlands & Islands Enterprise are hosting a series of events to support the Oil & Gas industry to survive the current climate and sustain business for the future, helping the industry to be more resilient.
Open to all companies with activities in the oil and gas supply chain, these events will cover commercial topics, including resilience in Strategy, Finance, Operations and Market Opportunities and advise on how you can sustain your business. Whether this is via 1-1 support, digital support, highlighting supply chain opportunities, or financial planning, industry experts, Champions and Scottish Enterprise Specialists will be on hand throughout the day to discuss your individual needs.
