Leading global safety firm, RelyOn Nutec, acquires, Complete Training Solutions (CTS), a specialist health and safety training provider. CTS is one of the UK’s leading renewable training providers based on the west coast and has a strong client base. With CTS, RelyOn Nutec has a complete renewable offering to their customers in the UK renewables energy market.
The acquisition further strengthens RelyOn Nutec’s global leadership position within safety and competence training for the wind industry. Adding Liverpool based CTS to RelyOn Nutec’s UK portfolio ensures a strong presence in the north west of England, in addition to the training centres in Aberdeen, Teesside and Great Yarmouth.
Following the acquisition, both organisations will continue to work together on additional joint funded opportunities in the wind sector in the future, maximising the expertise within this exciting partnership.
RelyOn Nutec UK Managing Director, Bob Donnelly, says: “The north west of England is a key renewables hub and as we continue to grow and focus on supporting the renewables industry with safety and technical training, it was essential that we spread our footprint across the country. CTS has a well established facility in Liverpool and is a fantastic addition to the RelyOn Nutec wind training offering. With key links to the local community and local authorities, we look forward to continuing the good work that CTS does. We are poised to grow the business in the coming months as we roll out our trusted GWO blended learning options to customers in the region.”
The Progress Group CEO, Jayne Worthington, says: “It’s an exciting move for CTS and comes on the back of an effective working partnership between our two companies. It’s exciting to see the bright future ahead of CTS under RelyOn Nutec and know that we can continue to work together with a trusted partner to drive green skills into the labour market, particularly at a time when talent is at a premium.”
RelyOn Nutec has diversified in recent years, adding to its core training business with a strengthened digital offering which has driven growth in the online learning sector and seen the development of software applications which support workforce training and competence.
