Bars across Aberdeen are reminded to register for Aberdeen Cocktail Week 2024, with spots still available ahead of the event which kicks off next month.

This popular city-wide celebration attracts over 1000 people to the city centre and is a unique opportunity for the city’s bartenders to showcase their creativity and craftsmanship through cocktails.

What’s New for 2024? This year, Aberdeen Cocktail Week have introduced exciting new features to give participants even more creative freedom:

  • £6 Cocktail Category: Instead of a mandatory £5 cocktail, venues can offer a £6 cocktail, showcasing a locally-produced spirit to support the region’s distilleries and brands.
  • No-Alcohol Category: Any cocktail can now be offered as a no-alcohol version, providing flexibility and inclusivity for all guests.

Participating venues will once again benefit from zero costs to get involved, and complimentary wristbands for staff. Plus, every venue will have a chance to compete for the coveted Golden Jigger award for Cocktail of the Year 2024.

How It Works: Wristband holders will have access to special menus featuring exclusive cocktails at participating venues, and will be able to rate and review their experiences throughout the week. This is a unique opportunity for bars to shine, engage with the local community, and showcase what they do best.

Get Involved: There’s still time for venues to register, but the deadline for submitting cocktail menus is fast approaching.

Early registrations are strongly encouraged to maximise marketing support and promotional opportunities.
