Workers in Aberdeen city centre are being invited to put their best foot forward as a hyper-local netwalking group makes its return this week.

Wander Wednesdays, organised by local PR agency Korero, encourage professionals to take a quick break from their desks and get some fresh air with a 30-minute walk with people who work close by. The monthly meet-up is open to professionals from all industries.

The next Wander Wednesday event will take place this Wednesday, March 1, at 12.30pm and will leave from outside Korero’s office at ONE Tech Hub in Schoolhill.

Alison Cran, Director at Korero and founder of Wander Wednesday said: “I set up the group as an opportunity to meet like-minded individuals and grow connections in an informal setting, all while enjoying some fresh air. Now that Spring is on its way it’s the perfect time to get out for a lunchtime wander and meet other professionals who work within a stone's throw of each other.”

“We all know how important exercise and the outdoors are for our mental health and wellbeing, and as the Aberdeen weather begins to improve, we really look forward to welcoming new faces,” she added.
