An exciting line-up of expert speakers has been secured for the Provenance Through Partnership event, which is being held on Thursday, May 26 at Birnam Arts Centre in Dunkeld.

This free to attend event has been organised by Sourcing for Growth and Think Local and will offer valuable insights from industry specialists, as well as food and drink producers who have benefited from co-branding, joint marketing and product pairing in their own businesses.

Specialist speakers on the day will include Rick Allison, UK market analyst, Scotland Food & Drink and Suzanne George, CEO of Denvir Marketing.

The event will also provide a platform for practical case studies from innovative food and drink entrepreneurs, such as Alastair Dobson of Arran Dairies and Taste of Arran, Jill Clark from Connage Highland Dairy and Julie Nisbet from Strathmore Foods. To maximise the benefits for delegates, the day will include both presentations and discussion, allowing participants to raise issues specific to their business.

Alan Stevenson, supply chain expert at SAOS and chair of the event explained:

"Provenance is at the heart of influencing the purchasing habits of today's informed consumer, so when two quality products come together in one, this effect is multiplied. The resulting product provides joint marketing opportunities, enhanced brand awareness and peer to peer influencing."

Alistair Dobson, from Arran Dairies and Taste of Arran said:

"Working with other like-minded food and drink companies can open up real opportunities for both parties and we have found it a very useful tool in our overall business strategy. The process may seem daunting, but this event will help attendees better understand the process and also the potential benefits."
