Smoke and Soul, the local favourite known for their mouth-watering BBQ, is excited to introduce a brand-new Sunday Roast menu at their Bridge of Don venue, The Old Smiddy.
Launched earlier this month from their unique venue ‘The Old Smiddy’ - a historic blacksmith’s on the edge of Bridge of Don at Murcar - popularity is growing for their traditional roast dinners.
A big change from their usual street food & casual BBQ served Monday to Saturday, their new three-course Sunday lunch menu blends tender, slow-cooked meats served with all the classic trimmings with modern homemade starters and desserts - perfect for a comforting Sunday meal out with family and friends. The team are committed to showcasing their premium locally sourced meats and produce from across the North East region throughout their menus, with everything made in-house by the talented team of chefs.
"We're thrilled to add a Sunday Roasts to our menu," said Lindsay, co-owner of Smoke and Soul. "The Old Smiddy is such a cozy spot, and we can't wait to welcome everyone for a relaxed, hearty meal to end the weekend.”
The feedback so far has been great and bookings are building for the team as each weekend rolls around.
Executive chef and co-owner Corey Milne says “I wanted to raise the bar for quality Sunday roasts in Aberdeen and create a menu that can rival the usual go-to’s in the city. We had local food blogger @Nikkieatstheworld joining us for a roast last Sunday, who shared online following her visit that it was the ‘best Sunday roast’ she’d had in Aberdeen - this is a huge compliment and lets us know we’re definitely doing something right.”
The Sunday Roast will be available every Sunday from 12 PM to 6 PM at The Old Smiddy, Bridge of Don. Walk ins welcome but with limited seating, booking ahead via their website is recommended to secure a table.
