Orchid, one of Aberdeen’s most popular cocktail bars has gone on the market for offers over £325,000.
The award-winning bar on Langstane Place has served up hundreds of thousands of drinks throughout the 15 years it has been in operation and will continue to do so as it’s “business as usual” while the property goes on the market.
Orchid was first opened in 2009 picking up an array of accolades including being placed on the UK’s Top 50 Best Bars list, winning SLTN Best Cocktail Bar in Scotland award four times and being shortlisted for GQ magazine’s Bar of the Year.
The bar is regarded as one of the best late-night venues in the city. Many of the former team members now own and manage several of the world’s top bars and speak fondly of their time behind the bar on Langstane Place. The basement of the establishment was also where the first distillates of the well-established Porter’s Gin were created.
The directors of the three-storey venue are now seeking new owners to take on the business. They commented: “For now, it is business as usual so please do continue to visit for a cocktail or two as a new chapter for 51 Langstane Place awaits.”
Orchid is currently on the market for offers from £325,000. All fixtures and fittings are to remain within the premises, making this an ideal turn-key opportunity for someone looking to get their hands on a popular city centre venue.
