The North-east business sector will be at the top of the political agenda tomorrow (Friday) when a cross-party group of politicians visits the Chamber of Commerce.
The group of MSPs and MPs will be briefed at Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce on key issues for the region.
As well as a discussion on the Aberdeen City Region Deal, which aims to secure vital investment for the region from UK and Scottish Governments, they will meet with Amanda Boyle, the director of the new Developing the Young Workforce, NE Scotland team.
Research & policy director at the Chamber James Bream said the twice yearly event was important for businesses in the region.
“We understand that politicians have many demands on their time, but the effect that a healthy business sector has on a region can never be underestimated.
“Our regional politicians from Holyrood and Westminster continue to give us their support and provide their time to meet with us to discuss these critical issues
“Our region has major infrastructure projects around transport, housing and digital connectivity to address so it can maintain its position as a driver of the Scottish and UK economy.
“Emphasising the key issues for the region - such as internationalisation, innovation, skills and connectivity – to this audience of political decision-makers reinforces our aim of keeping the North-east’s interests at the top of the political agenda.”
