The former Vodafone store in the heart of Aberdeen's high street could soon be transformed into a pizza restaurant thanks to a local businessman.
The Press and Journal reports that Stonehaven businessman, Hafiz Mubarik Hussain wants to turn the empty unit on 92 Union Street - which has been vacant for six years - into a 29-seater eatery.
The property sits directly opposite Aberdeen's new £40million international food market, which is expected to open next year.
The unit has been empty since August 2018 but is surrounded by established high street names and sits between two of the city's main shopping centres.
