Following the successful movie drive-in programme last year, Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events, has confirmed it will open up the venue for two Halloween ‘Screamings’ later this month, which will both take place on October 27
The first screening will be Hocus Pocus at 6pm, this family experience hopes to see children and parents arrive in their spooky costumes and join in the fun with the friendly witches floating around to welcome movie-goers. There will be lots of tasty treats to enjoy including spooky pick’n’mix bags from the Halloween tuck shop, as well as hot and cold drinks and snacks.
Later in the evening, Scream will be shown at 9pm, this movie is not for the faint-hearted. Inspired by the real-life case of the Gainesville Ripper, this screening will have some added Halloween surprises for those brave enough to attend. Movie-goers may be safe inside their cars during this film, but could be in for a surprise visit from Ghostface, when they least expect it.
Both movies will be shown on a giant screen in the venue’s car park and cinema-goers simply need to tune their car radio to the event’s station to hear the film.
Attendees are advised to arrive an hour before the viewing, with spaces being allocated on a first come, first served basis.

It will be a fun and memorable evening for young and old and a perfect start to the Halloween celebrations.”

In addition to this Halloween spooktacular the Pittodrie Events team are also hosting a festive Drive-In weekend on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 December with tickets for Elf already sold out and tickets for The Grinch, Frozen and The Muppets Christmas Carol selling fast.
Sodexo has enjoyed a partnership with Aberdeen Football Club for more than 20 years, providing catering and hospitality on both match-days and non-matchdays. The team is responsible for more than 200 events every year, including corporate meetings, conferences and private social occasions.
