Peterson last Thursday (September 10) announced the appointment of Joost Perquin as regional director responsible for the Americas region.
Joost joins Peterson from TETRA Offshore Services, a leading offshore services contractor in the US Gulf of Mexico with a strong focus on decommissioning, where he held the position of director of international strategy. In this role he was responsible for leading the company’s international expansion efforts, focused on business development and strategic planning.
Prior to joining TETRA Joost held a number of senior roles in supply chain and logistics. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of the Americas making him the ideal person to lead Peterson’s growth in this important market. He also has a deep understanding of offshore decommissioning and construction practices and will support Peterson’s activities in this area in future.

A Dutch national, Joost holds an MBA in Business Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam where he majored in marketing and logistics. In his new role, Joost will be based in Houston.
