Vallourec Oil & Gas UK (VOGUK), the North Sea branch of world leader in premium seamless tubular solutions Vallourec, has appointed Peter Bebbington as regional sales manager to lead the growth of Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) in the UK and Netherlands.
Peter has gained extensive knowledge of the oil and gas market, along with strong technical expertise, through a career in business development and management at Halliburton, Gryphon Oilfield Solutions, and Sika Oil Tools Ltd. At Vallourec, he will serve as a trusted advisor to clients while playing a key role in expanding the distribution of the Group’s tubular solutions.
Over the next 12 months, VOGUK aims to enhance its support for the North Sea oil and gas sector, as well as new energy markets, through a proactive sales strategy. This will be supported by a strategic partnership with Hunting PLC, leveraging their OCTG threading facility in Fordoun, Aberdeenshire, to maintain high-quality services for North Sea clients. Based in Aberdeen, Peter will focus on optimizing these facilities as a central part of his new role.
