Free events ranging from boccia to a crafts session have been arranged for the over 65s in the Entertainment Marquee in Aberdeen Winter Village.
Aberdeen City Council’s Wellbeing team has organised the events which are aimed at anyone who is over 65 and lives in the city.
The events include: Thursday, December 3 - boccia from 1.30pm to 2.30pm, crafts session from 3pm to 4pm; Monday, December 7 - boccia from 1.30pm to 2.30pm, tinselcise from 3pm to 4pm; Thursday, December 10 – tinselcise from 1.30pm to 2.30pm, exercise to music from 3pm to 4pm; Monday, December 14 – exercise to music from 1.30pm to 2.30pm, and a crafts session from 3pm to 4pm.
A gift drop for those who have no permanent home has also been organised and there is no obligation to participate, but any donations will be gratefully received and passed onto relevant charities.
