ORKA Solutions, a North-east leader in solar and EV charging solutions, has completed a major sustainability project for Hilton Instruments, helping the scientific equipment supplier reduce carbon emissions and futureproof its energy usage.

The installation included a custom-designed rooftop solar PV system and EV charging points at Hilton Instruments’ premises near Aberdeen, reinforcing both companies’ commitment to greener operations.

Duncan Booth, director at ORKA Solutions, said: “This project demonstrates how innovative clean energy technologies can deliver real benefits to commercial clients. We were thrilled to support Hilton Instruments on their sustainability journey.”

Hilton Instruments, which supplies laboratories globally, turned to ORKA Solutions as part of its strategic push to reduce energy costs and environmental impact.

Kevin Norrie, managing director of Hilton Instruments, added: “We chose ORKA because of their practical expertise and knowledge. Their team handled everything smoothly – from concept through to commissioning.”

The project adds to ORKA’s growing portfolio of commercial solar and EVCP installations across Scotland, supporting the region’s transition to a low-carbon economy.
