To achieve the status under the Renewbale Fuels Assurance Scheme (RFAS) has solidified OilFast's position as a reliable partner for transport companies.
This achievement validates Oilfast's claims of greenhouse gas (GHG) emission savings and the reliability of raw material feedstocks for its Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO renewable diesel fuel) within the RFAS scheme.
The HVO fuel is a game-changer, instantly slashing up to 90% of a business's greenhouse gas emissions without requiring any engine modifications, providing a cleaner and more sustainable solution for both on and off-road commercial fleets. With this prestigious approval, Oilfast gains the ability to issue its own Renewable Fuel Declarations for HVO fuel, endorsed by the Zemo Partnership, offering fleet operators the assurance of accessing sustainable, low-carbon fuels.
The Zemo Partnership is an independent non-profit organization collaborating with the government and members to expedite transport towards zero emissions. Notably, the partnership is responsible for overseeing the RFAS scheme, meticulously analysing the entire renewable fuel supply chain from the cultivation of feedstock or collection of waste raw materials to the production and distribution of the final product to the customer.
