The number of Scots working from home has doubled since pre-pandemic, new figures have today revealed.
New data from the Scottish Household Survey found that 31% of people reported that they worked from home in 2022, up from just 16% in 2019.
And the number of people who commuted to work five days a week was just 38% in 2022, down from 62% three years prior.
The survey has been used in Transport Scotland's Transport and Travel in Scotland report.
The report also finds that the share of journeys made by each mode of transport is broadly similar, however the survey showed a drop in public transport satisfaction since pre-pandemic.
58% of respondents said they remain fairly satisfied with public transport, down from 68% in 2019.
