​Nomad Infrastructure, a firm dedicated to the development and delivery of industrial projects, has announced the appointment of Paul Binnie as director of operations for its newly established UK office in Aberdeen. ​

Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, Nomad Infrastructure specialises in transforming energy construction projects by adapting and incorporating new technologies and systems. 

Paul is a veteran, who brings over 25 years of experience in business and engineering to his new role. His career includes significant positions at Wood, where he served as technical director for operations, and latterly as director for oil and gas within the EMEA consulting business. 

In his new position, Paul will lead Nomad Infrastructure's UK & European operations, initially focusing on developing green hydrogen solutions in Aberdeen. 

His appointment underscores the company's commitment to supporting the North-east's world-class engineering heritage and contributing to the region's energy transition efforts.​

Paul commented: "I'm excited to be joining Nomad Infrastructure at the very start of its journey here, in the UK, having seen the incredible energy transition projects we have delivered in the US. Not only am I excited, I am also proud, as I am passionate about my adopted home, of Aberdeen, and glad to continue supporting the North East's world-class engineering heritage by developing and building green hydrogen plants from here."​
