No Stopping Deeside Activity Park’s Free Bonfire and Fireworks Night, it was held yesterday on Sunday 6th November and is being hailed a huge success by all the visitors who came from far and wide the join in the family fun. There really is No Stopping Deeside Activity Park with over 1500 people on site, and a full Diary of Events been booked for next year 2017. This really is the place to be on Royal Deeside.

Cilla, the Marketing Manager for the Park, thinks there were between 1500 and 2000 people at the park enjoying the bonfire, fireworks and of course the Cairnton Aberdeen Angus BBQ along with our new addition this year from our Farming Friends Louise and Aaron Urquhart who supplied a wonderful Hog Roast”.

Deeside Activity Park really are showing “Farm to Fork” at its very best as always, along with “Taste our Best” and the “Buy North East” campaign too.

“The food offering went down a real treat as usual, in fact we nearly ran out of Homemade Cairnton Angus Burgers. We are wondering how many we will need for next year already?” Said Joyce, the Head Cook for the Park.

Farmer Ken Howie, Owner of the park and also the person who puts on such a wonderful display of fireworks, with his trusted top team said “The Evening was just perfect, it was cold but very pleasant. Thanks again to E & M Lees for providing a courtesy bus from Lumphanan Square for local residents to come to the park to save on parking spaces, which we think was just as well as the cars were lining the road on both sides for quite some stretch from the park”

Deeside Activity Park is an outdoor activities park offering a range of outdoor pursuits including quad biking, 4x4 off road driving, clay shooting, fishing and many more fantastic conference facilities, farm shop and an award winning coffee shop all on-site. They really are a farm diversification project going for it. The Bonfire night is but only ONE of the special events that are being held at Deeside Activity Park, the next event is their Famous Cairnton Christmas Lunches, and not to be missed, on every Sunday, a mouth-watering Cairnton Sunday Carvery.
