A new service has been launched in Aberdeen to help people secure their first job or make their next career move.
CV Aberdeen, a newly-established business, provides expert support and guidance for anyone making their first foray into the world of work, aiming to get back into work after redundancy, or simply looking to take their career in a new direction.
The business, run by managing director Darren Aggasild and operations director Karen Ferguson, offers CV writing services as well as advice on cover letters, interview preparation and LinkedIn profiles.
Tailored cost packages are available for individual candidates as well as businesses who wish to outsource their support services for personnel when going through redundancy programmes.
Darren said: “CV Aberdeen has been launched as a bespoke career toolkit service aimed at optimising an individual’s chances to secure employment.
“We are living in challenging economic times and it is essential that a candidate can stand out in front of employers to maximise their prospects.
“CV Aberdeen has more than 40 years' combined experience in the recruitment and HR industries, and knows what employers in a variety of business sectors look for in potential employees."
The business is linking with organisations including AFC Community Trust and sportscotland to deliver its services and to reach people of all ages and backgrounds.
