Nigel Farage's Reform Party is almost neck and neck with the Scottish Conservatives and faces a distinct possibility of being Scotland's third biggest party by 2026, according to a new poll.
Despite the party leader not visiting Scotland on the general election campaign trail, Reform amassed nearly 7% of the vote, their best result finishing third in Aberdeenshire North and Moray East.
Overall, the party outperformed the Scottish Greens.
The new polling has Reform just 3% behind the Scottish Tories regional vote (8% vs 11%), while their constituency vote share would jump to 9%.
The party's presence in Scotland remains extremely limited, but it could target a number of regions in 2026 and potentially come second in opposition.
The Survation data, which captured views of 1,021 Scots between August 27 and August 29, has Labour and the SNP level in support on the constituency vote, but has Labour (25%) marginally ahead of the SNP (24%) on the regional list.
A decade on from the Scottish independence referendum, Alex Salmond's Alba Party is polling at 1% in constituencies and 2% on regional lists, while the Liberal Democrats are at 9% on both votes.
The Scottish Greens, currently Holyrood's fourth biggest party, are polling at 6% in constituencies and 9% on the list.
