One of his first projects was the design of Mair's Quay before working as the Site Engineer at Dales Voe. He worked on several marine civil engineering projects in Lerwick before moving down to the Aberdeen office on secondment. After that, he spent three years in our Southampton office and became a Chartered Engineer in 2019. He moved back home to Shetland in 2020 and a year later became an Associate. He is currently the project manager for Scapa Deep Water Quay in Orkney.

Shane will be managing our Lerwick Office, following Andy Sandison’s decision to step down from the Partnership. Andy will continue to work for Arch Henderson as a Senior Engineering Consultant and the Partnership are pleased to retain his knowledge and expertise.
